Here at Camping Paradise,
we believe that our campground is so unique, we want to share some of our
history and background of its owner, Kenny Hutchens.
Kenny Purchased a 200 area farm in 2004 with a
dream to build a campground and spend his retirement years enjoying the
community and their guests.
Kenny always wanted to have some type of campground or resort as a new
adventure, something he had never experienced before. With his developing skills
and precise vision he was up for the challenge to see his dreams come alive. The
campground was developed from a wooded timber terrain, all without a blue print,
but with the vision of Kenny and his dreams. Everyone who visits the campground
immediately recognizes that the campground is special.
With the emphasis on “Family”, Kenny wants the guest to enjoy the family
atmosphere along with all the wholesome/back to nature family activities his
campground has to offer.
His mission is to see people enjoy their visit and return often.
The addition of the amphitheater to the campground was with the goal to provide
a venue that would afford the local community to enjoy a evening out of
entertainment, and/or a day of family activities throughout the campground along
with the camping guest. Our amphitheater is great for all kinds of events,
including Blues and Bluegrass festivals, Christian music fellowships, weddings
and many other events in need the beautiful setting that the Lake of the Ozarks
has to offer.
